THE COOLEST Vegan Moto Jackets for Spring

Noizejacket.jpg

Motorcycle jackets are probably my favorite item to wear (paired with booties, of course) so I am constantly on the hunt for cool vegan leather options.

When I came across Noize, I was really excited because they actually have a lot of options - colors and cuts - which you don’t find normally with vegan leather jackets. AND I also just love their branding. It really makes me happy that vegan leather is becoming hip and not just granola-y. I I wanted to try out the Eva Jacket in their light olive green, because I love a good green and I haven’t really seen green vegan moto jackets like that on the street.

I received my jacket right before I left for a work trip to London (where I still currently am) so I was stoked to take it along with me for the 50 degree weather I would be experiencing. Since that temp is still quite cold, I managed to be fine wearing it paired with a sweater and long sleeve shirt underneath. The green color is really nice and different. The jacket is pretty heavy, which is great, as it mimics the quality of a real leather jacket and doesn’t have that cheap, light plasticky feel to it like many fast fashion brands do that manufacture faux leather products. The only drawback for me is that the cut is a little short, which happens because I am a size small but 5’9” so often a lot of things are short on me, however the length of the arms were actually long enough! The other drawback is that it doesn’t have gold hardware, only silver, and I am a gold girl through and through (it just looks better with my coloring!)

I will definitely be trying out more jackets from Noize and am excited to see their new styles for the fall. I also really want to try the white vegan leather moto jacket they make - which will be hard to keep clean for me (I work with animals a lot and am a very messy eater) but I’m willing to take the risk to look cute this spring :)

Work-Place Approved (vegan leather) Tote Bags

The strap of my work tote bag had snapped, so for my birthday my boyfriend (knowing the vegan-leather/cruelty-free product connoisseur that I am, got my a vegan leather tote bag by Marsi Bond. I typically wear black bags because they’re chic and they go with every outfit. The tote bag he got me was great because it’s large enough to fit everything - my MacBook pro, hardcopy books, hair brush, water bottle, 3 journals I tote around with me (very necessary), writing pens, tampons, scrunchie, superfood powders, masking tape (for production), and whatever other odd things I may have.

I like the one he got me because it has a red interior which makes it pop! At first I didn’t love the inside material, but after researching the brand I read that the interior is made to be completely unzipped/removed (there is a zipper that goes across the whole thing) and then you can wash it. So now I love it because I know that I am constantly getting my bag interiors dirty (spilled pill tablets, ink explosions, dog treats, human treats, etc.)

The two drawbacks I have is that I wish there was a smaller, safe zipped compartment for important items (passport, phone, credit cards, etc.) and the whole bag snaps together and I probably need something that zips entirely closed since I travel a lot and often throw my bag around which results in all of the contents (which apparently are a lot now that I’ve typed them all out).

I think I’d like for my next Marsi Bond bag to be the bucket bag…
