Cutie Booties That Don't Kill (your feet or animals)
I love and live in booties. They are definitely my go-to shoe for many reasons. They have functionality (I typically move a lot) like a sneaker, but maintain more class and sass.
We’ve been having A LOT of rain in Los Angeles this year and I realized that I needed to get new booties after a week of wondering why my feet were always wet and then realizing that the soles had been completely worn down and water had been seeping onto my feet, oops! So of course I went on the hunt for the perfect vegan leather bootie, and let me tell you, it was not easy. I don’t love the punk-rocker look on myself, so I usually go for a clean, classic aesthetic and that was hard to find in the vegan leather world.
Finally I came across Bhava shoes which are all vegan leather and made in Spain (so you know they understand great style.) I was delighted when they sent me a pair of my top pick, the Patti Ankle Boot. I have no stopped wearing them since I received the shoes because they go with everything (hence why I love a simple, classic bootie) and I have gotten asked by numerous women what designer brand makes them and they were all shocked to hear that they were vegan leather. I tend to wear my shoes until they combust (hence the soles coming off) because I think clothes should be WORN and life should be LIVED, so I know I will definitely be getting another pair once I feel the rain once again seeping in.
